Sellsy
Overview
As Presentations Designer at Houlihan Lokey, I was tasked with creating a custom, client-branded presentation deck template for a strategic pitch to Sellsy, a leading French CRM and business management software company. The challenge was to develop a cohesive visual system that would effectively communicate Houlihan Lokey's investment banking expertise while seamlessly integrating Sellsy's modern, tech-focused brand identity. The deck needed to be both professional enough for high-stakes financial discussions and visually engaging enough to resonate with Sellsy's digital-first culture.
Solution
I created a presentation system that aligned Houlihan Lokey’s financial messaging with Sellsy’s tech-forward visual identity. The design featured clean layouts, purposeful color use, and a cohesive structure that reflected both brands’ values. Key design elements included:
Strategic use of Sellsy's signature blue and purple across icons, charts, and accent elements
Custom iconography and data visualizations adapted from Sellsy’s existing brand assets to reflect their software-driven business model
A clear typography system centered on Patron Medium, combining approachability with credibility
Flexible templates for executive summaries, content sections, and supporting materials—plus a comprehensive brand guide to support future use
The final branding guide established a full visual system, including primary and secondary color palettes, layout rules, and style standards—ensuring consistency across all communications while respecting and reinforcing Sellsy’s brand identity.
Results
This project was one of several instances where I’ve supported the same financial analyst with the creation of client-branded templates. While each request is typically a one-off, the consistency of our collaboration—and the lack of revision requests—suggests the work has met expectations. The Sellsy deck was used as delivered and contributed to a pattern of successful handoffs built on mutual trust and efficiency.
